Nothing But Ocean and Wildlife Surrounding Us
July 23, 2022
Fred S, C watch
Wildlife seen while sailing up the coast of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, to our anchorage point off of star island (Maine)
Ship's Log
Noon Position
42° 36’ N, 070° 56.00’ W
Weather / Wind / Sail Plan
Weather is sunny skies, light wind, and calm seas.
The morning started off bright and early. C watch was supposed to have watch from 01:00am-7:00am, however, because we decided to anchor for the night, the previous watch/crew let us sleep in till 5:30am. After wake up, C watch got the SSV Corwith Cramer off anchor. We got to watch a beautiful sunrise over Gloucester harbor. After traveling many miles up the coast, we’ve made it further enough that there is nothing but ocean and wildlife surrounding us. I look forward to traveling up and down the coast, and seeing all the wildlife in their natural habitat.
