This is Mujahed (Muj) from Methodist University, B watch. I have had a challenging day today as I took part of two watches starting at 1 am to 7 am and another from 7 pm to 1 am. I have also washed the most dishes in my life, so far, during one of my watches. I have to say it is not the most fun thing to do, but I consider it as a humbling experience to create a better leader.
I have been learning a lot on the ship; some about my ship mates and more about myself. I find not having wifi is advantageous to build a better ship community, and reflect about my experiences. It feels nice to have such clarity of mind without the interference of unnecessary news. Just learning about the various creatures in the ocean, sailing with a small community, and watching the stars.
I have to say that I really miss my family and friends. I hope they all are doing well!! I also can’t wait to practice unicycling again.
Much love from the Pacific,
Mujahed
