What. A. Day. We had our first Field Day, but don’t be fooled by the title like we were. It’s a designated day of cleaning… everything. As A-Watchers, we had the pleasure of cleaning the galley. We scrubbed the galley from overhead to sole, but hey, we were able to listen to music for the first time in weeks. After cleaning the boat, Captain Chris promptly decided to let us clean ourselves. When he announced that the pool was open, a stampede of sweaty bodies flew off of the headrig.
Since we were on watch when field day was happening we got to clean all the rags we used to clean the boat after the pool closed (pretty exciting stuff). As we reached in the bucket for the blue rags (Blue is for Poo – the head rags) a pod of whales decided to come say ‘hey’. Seeing 10 whales was not a bad way to end the day.
Hey guys, it’s Mathilde. Finally got to steal the keyboard back from Maia. Just want to send out a shout out my family, miss you all! Make sure to give Bowie some extra pets from me. Sorry it took me so long to finally write a blog post, today’s one of the first days I’ve been able to go below deck without getting seasick. Another shout out to Dramamine. Wouldn’t be here without you.
Hey hey fam, Maia here. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving (in Bradley and Rehoboth)! I miss and love you tons!
