Beautiful views at Isaac’s Bay.
Today was an amazing day! The first beach we went to had some super crazy waves and we knew we couldn’t get data from that location. However, our mentors were extremely flexible and took us to another beach where we were able to do reef surveys and finally collect some data! I worked with the chemistry team collecting samples and it was extremely fun. In the past couple of days I have learned to tread properly as well as equalize properly while duck-diving.
Huge shoutout to Abby, Pike, Kyaralind, Natalie, and Macy for working with me and making me feel extremely comfortable in the water! Another huge shoutout the Captain Kevin and the best RA Kelly! I am very excited to see myself and everyone grow for the remainder of the program.
