Ship’s Log
Location
Discovery Grove St. Croix
Weather
Hot, Humid and Sunny with some clouds
This was essentially our free day at Discovery Grove. Most people just hung around and did work, me included. Since there are two assignments due tomorrow it was actually just really nice to be able to do work at my own pace. Unstructured days are the way to go. Since it’s almost ship time there was also a huge push for doing laundry. But, there is no dryer and limited clothes line space. That means that any space that clothes could be hung on had clothes on it. Chairs. Balconies. Trees. Many many trees. With the bugs I just hope we avoid hitch hikers. Also, one of my shipmates, Kate, decided to surprise everyone with ice cream after dinner! We had one of those giant gallon tubs of vanilla ice cream and some Italian ice for the non dairy folks. It was very appreciated in the heat. Now most people are splitting off for our last minute film viewings where I will be watching Mamma Mia 2. Gotta get in all the movies before the ship! Also, unrelated, look at the size of this toad!!
