Twenty four hours, so many things between. It all starts with my 0530am wake up, the sun rising, and my coffee in my hand as I sit on quarter deck.

Throughout the day I did a number of things, I started by helping Shelby in the galley (kitchen), cutting oranges and preparing for breakfast. From then on it was a mix of breaks, staring at the glassy waves in the Atlantic Ocean, or continuing my work in the galley as we prepared to set out snack and split for class. I cut celery and carrots and went on deck to read my book and take a nap before class. Once I woke up we had class on the quarter deck were we talked about science, navigation, and general health/safety aboard Cramer.

After class I did my laundry and took a fire hose shower with the whole crew. For the rest of the evening I socialized with my friends, read my book, played cards, and ended the night with another delicious meal, bbq chicken and Caesar salad. Today was my stew (student steward) day and as I sit in the library writing this I am preparing for my next watch at 1300-1900.
