Students from SEA’s Caribbean Reef Expedition Class, C-301, collected 33 pounds of trash from a 1/2-mile stretch of Trunk River Beach in Falmouth in breezy, 68-degree weather today, Friday, and were pretty happy about it. Most students rode SEA bikes down to the beach.

Quotes from the beach cleaners: “I can’t believe we found that much trash; the beach looked clean!” “That was really fun!” “Trash SHOULDN’T Splash!”

The haul also included but was not limited to 53 food wrappers, 45 beverage containers and 26 plastic or paper bags.
