Good morning all! Today marks the end of our sailing adventures as we anchored near Martha’s Vineyard and another island. It was super warm and sunny during the morning hours and everyone was excited to end their watch shift rotations.

We were given part of the day to work on our chosen final projects. The three topics the watches chose were Project Plankton, Oceanography Weather and Whales, and finally Deep Sea Sediments. We additionally did a lot of sail handling to prepare for anchoring, which was very invigorating.

Dinner got a standing ovation because it was so delicious (beef, tofu, and rice). C-Watch also indulged in their victory dessert for winning the Pin-rail Race. Overall it was an awesome day filled with phytoplankton, sails, and cupcakes.
