I started on morning watch, but because we were already anchored we didn’t have to do anything, except for chores which consist of cleaning the heads, showers, soles, ladders, high touch areas, and taking out the trash. Your whole watch does this with you so it gets done fast and goes by quick.

Usually you will have 6 hours on your everyday watch, today we had the C-329 FIRST SWIM CALL! This was at around 10 am so our watch group didn’t have to do much today. On top of that we took the small boats to shore and continued our day on land snorkeling.

After snorkeling for around two hours we were able to spend some time in Frederiksted, St. Croix. As we walked around we met many interesting people including this man that called himself “Hyper Nine”. He had many interesting stories to tell us! A lot of the locals seemed to be open to talk to us about their life, and were amazed to hear that we had sailed from Woods Hole. Overall we had an amazing time exploring a new place, especially after not stepping foot on land for so long.
