SEA campus in Woods Hole, MA
Sunny, warm, and a little bit windy
This week we were lucky enough to have some of our classes outside by the ocean.
We got to start our Sheet Anchors, which are journals of our time with SEA and on Ocean Classroom. In Captain Pamala’s class we learned about all the sails and the lines on the Corwith Cramer. During Jeff’s Marine Science class we took a short walk to Quissett Harbor and split up into three different groups who were responsible for creating aquariums in different locations around the harbor. In our Ocean and Society Class we took a short walk to “The Knob” to discuss the history of Cape Cod. When we were not in class we had the opportunity to take walks to different beaches, play basketball, and play card games. Our lovely stewards have worked hard to prepare exceptional food, 3 times a day. Early mornings have been filled with bike rides to bakeries in Woods Hole, runs with our PA Murph or Pilates led by PA Hillary.
We cannot wait for our camping trip to the Nickerson State Park and exploring more of Cape Cod!
