Happy Birthday Bird!!! Today was Birds Birthday, and what a birday it was!
The Moon
Here is the beginnings of a love song/poem I wrote on dawn watch to the lubber line:
Why won’t you move
my lubba line,
my lubba line
All I can do is wait for you
Its half past two,
the moon is blue and so are you
For mile we sailed upon the ocean blue
for days and days we’d shoot the moon
and bring the sun into the blue
my lubba line
my lubba line
My Dorado, me and you, we’re two and two I’ll follow you were whales sing eerie tunes will you be true?
I’ll sing to you
my lubba line
my lubba line
All I can do is follow you
The Moon
Shoutout to Gisela for helping with lyrics ?. Oh dear, it would appear we’ve turned the engine on again. The bench I’m sitting on is shaking!
P.S. To the fam I hope everyone is doing well, miss you lots especially the puppies and kitties. Granny, my Sargassum research is going swimmingly, and I hope there are lambs to bottle feed when I see you next!!!
Lots and pots of love,
Margot Ferris
