Weather / Wind and Sail Plan: Foggy and Anchored
Description of where we are sailing: Anchored at Menemsha Cove, Martha’s
Vineyard

Today was another adventurous and delightful day on the Cramer. For many,
their morning began bright and early as the fog horn hooted through the
mist. Fortunately, Alex worked in the galley with Seb and Annie to whip up
some scrumptious pecan rolls. Soon after, we hauled in the anchor and set
sail once again under bright blue skies. We slowly navigated through the
Cape Cod Canal waving to all the boats, bikers, and roller bladers along the
way. The crew kept a steady hand on the helm and a sharp lookout to take us
through safely.

Afternoon class introduced an exciting game of pictonary/charades that
tested each watches’ knowledge of the scientific research we have conducted.
The three watches passed with flying colors as in every round each watch
quickly called out the correct answer. Additionally, each watch began work
on their scientific project presentation which analyzed the data collected
over the past week. After all this good work, we fell back to play and
enjoyed chats, rap battles, and spooky stories on the foredeck as fog
engulfed the ship. Tonight we are happily plotted down in Menemsha Bight,
Martha’s Vineyard  with our sturdy anchor and snoozing shipmates.

Cheerio,
