Jingle Jingle Jingle sounds the bell,
As I wake I wonder what’s that smell,
Bacon eggs apples and toast,
Oh today I’ll be ready to boast,
Now its time for my watch,
And I hope there’ll be no blotch!
Time to steer the heading,
I look to my left Juliet’s yakking,
Oh goodness thankfully she’ll be alright,
Sydney’ll give promeclizine tonight,
As the day goes on and on,
The sun shines and my skin is torn,
But I’m happy to be in the Pacific,
As dolphins flip and turn its terrific!
We finally stop at 5 O’clock
Miloli’I looks better than tic tok,
Time for class and we get a speech,
They say we’re going to a black sand beach!
As you read this poem you probably realized I have not a single clue about poetry. However everything in this poem is true, I believe. I can tell you though this whole trip has felt like a fever dream, like today I cut down and skinned a tree to build a canoe (you’ll hear about all that from Matt later on). I also drank straight from a coconut which was delicious. Also I have been disconnected from the world as I’ve had no WIFI and no phone (yeah it broke. Sorry mom but as soon as I get home we have to make a T-Mobile stop). Being disconnected has been really nice though. I’m on my third book so far, I haven’t had the chance to read so much in forever! Well I’m going to stop yapping and I hope you enjoyed my short poem!
