Hi, friends and family. We started off the day with 2 hour dawn watch shifts from midnight to 07:00am. Today had some great weather with nice sun and a cool breeze as we made our way to and eventually through the Cape Cod Canal. Our watch was sleeping for most of the day to prepare for evening watch, so we had awesome burritos for dinner! Hot cocoa and coffee are a must. We have been improving on our bean-trading skills in the card game called beans. The boys began a poker ring using scrabble letters as chips. Our class today involved learning how to jibe and lower to neuston boom for science deployments. B Watch had a lovely time in galley cleanup where we washed mountains of dishes and prepped the kitchen for another day of providing 3 meals and 3 snacks for all 32 of us on board. We are excited to make our way around the entirety of Cape Cod in the next few days!
