Description of location
Wilkinson Basin off of Cape Cod
Wow… It’s been six days now hasn’t it. At the same time it feels so much longer than that and shorter. We’ve learned most everyone’ s name by now, which makes it much easier to ask them to pass the salad dressing.

The weather has been simply fantastic today which has made life much more pleasant to those who are more susceptible to sea sickness, as these last couple days many of them have had a chat with Neptune. Dawn watch started off strong this morning with a pod of three minke whales and the highlight of our morning a sparrow, whom we have named Carl. Class was especially interesting today as we gained a light overview into celestial navigation and the usage of sextants.
Right now I am going to have to leave y’all wanting more because I have to take my nap which is essential to being able to get through tonight’s night watch.
