Description of where we are sailing: Anchored off of Martha’s Vineyard
Another beautiful day on the Cramer! Dawn watch started off the day from the
bowsprit with a gorgeous sunrise. B Watch (Beef Watch) kicked off a day of
science by processing all of our chlorophyll-a samples,  completing a one
hundred count of all the zooplankton found in the Neuston Net, and writing
some inspiring haiku poetry. With watches coming to a close, C Watch
completed our final deployments. We continued to work on our projects, and
cared for our wounded shipmate (a badly bruised arm). We got to celebrate a
pro crew member’s birthday and enjoyed a lovely evening with a delicious
cake, watercolor paintings, bracelet making, and lots of pictures. Our last
day underway came to a celebratory ending with fireworks off the coast of
Martha’s Vineyard.
