Description of where we are sailing: Anchored Menemsha Bight, Martha’s Vineyard
A busy day at anchor in Menemsha Bight, Martha’s Vineyard. Final oceanography projects preparations were followed by informative, thorough, and creative, poster presentations. In our short time together at sea these students have proven themselves as capable crew and sailing, scientists. They have earned every data point with their hard work as shipmates. I am so proud of each and every one of these students.
Presentations were followed by a relaxing afternoon which included a long swim call, time spent with shipmates, and a restful night at anchor under the stars.
I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
Cheers,
Jeff Schell, Chief Scientist
