Description of location
Anchored in Boston Harbor/ Long Island, MA
This afternoon, around 15:00, The SSV Corwith Cramer put up its sails and started to head out of Boston Harbor. After going through rigorous safety checks and learning many very new things, we were beyond excited to finally get going! We spent the morning learning more about the ship and its equipment- from survival suits to ropes and sails and so much more.
Lunch (delicious as always) was followed by fire, abandon ship, and man overboard situation drills. Now, as we sail, A watch is on watch and B and C watches are on break. So far, the voyage has been amazing- there is a completely new thing around every corner. We are so excited for the amazing things sure to come in the next two weeks!
