Chapoquoit Beach

Today we began with another slow and relaxed start. After we enjoyed the late pancake brunch together, we drove to Chapoquoit Beach in the afternoon. The weather was cloudy and grey at first, but as soon as we arrived at the beach, the sun began to shine, turning the weather into a perfect beach day. All of the people used their time in various ways. The sun-shiny day found some students on the soft sand, enjoying the sun heat and the relaxing atmosphere. Some played Spikeball down by the beach, while others made up their own ball game with their imagination. Everyone had a good time across the beach. Fresh air and the pretty scene made it the perfect background for a quiet afternoon.

After coming back from Chapoquoit Beach, we made a short trip to a nearby Walmart. Students bought snacks and drinks to enjoy together. We ended the day with a warm lasagna for dinner, and a movie night with the classic movie Jaws, a perfect movie for shark week.

Today was a relaxing day without a full schedule, we all stored enough energy to welcome the coming week, getting ready for the final research project of the final week in SEA.
